VIA (Vehicle Identification & Analysis) : This is a AI system built using the cutting edge technology and the latest Machine Learning algorithms. This program is capable of detecting parking locations, color of the car, its make, and can asses how much damage the car has if any. It also is useful in detecting the position of the car, the lane it is travelling in, the direction it is headed in, etc. For example it can input to the dashboard that it is going in the wrong direction when it is in movement, avoiding travelling in one ways. This system is implemented in the US and now being modified for usage in India. Also, since each country is unique in it driving protocols, we are developing various versions to suit different geographies.
This system helps us draw more insights into various parameters like driving skills, behaviors, engine performance and so on. All this information is uploaded onto cloud and from there users and governments can access them on the fly. Some use cases can be for traffic control, security and safety. The system is capable of running on cloud and Edge. It can run on different microprocessors. The current prototype is on QCOM Chipset SDA 845. These applications has the potential to be used in smart cities and smart buildings.
